Daniel Spulecki Jr
CWNE #568·Wireless Network Engineer
I'm a wireless network engineer with 21+ years in enterprise Wi-Fi, RF, and the technology that keeps hospitality and public venues connected. I hold CWNE #568 — one of roughly 600 Certified Wireless Network Experts worldwide. I'm also an engineer who builds his own tools.
About
My work lives in the full lifecycle of large wireless networks — design, validation, and the day-to-day reality of keeping them healthy — across hospitality properties, multi-dwelling units, and high-density public venues. I earned CWNE #568 the deliberate way, working through the entire CWNP track (CWNA, CWDP, CWSP, CWAP, and CWISA) one certification at a time.
My interest in RF doesn't stop at Wi-Fi: I work across enterprise wireless, coax distribution plant, and amateur radio as an FCC-licensed operator (Technician, KC1VUO) — the same physics seen through three different lenses. Somewhere along the way, that earned me "RF whisperer."
More and more, I close the distance between "we need a tool for this" and a working tool myself, using AI-assisted development to ship internal infrastructure applications.
Things I'm building
- AP Field GuideIn development A community-driven web app for identifying enterprise access points from a photo — point your camera at a ceiling-mounted AP and get back the make, model, and the details that matter in the field. It'll live at apfg.danspulecki.com.
- Network lifecycle & monitoring tooling Internal applications that track wireless hardware through its whole lifecycle and pull operational telemetry into a single pane of glass.
- Field documentation apps A construction-documentation tool with companion mobile apps on the App Store and Google Play, built to capture site work where it actually happens — in the field, on a phone.
